I've actually done quite a lot of stuff over the past few days, but rather than tell you about that, I'm going to do this instead, which I stole from her. Don't expect one-word answers, though. I don't do those… have you ever... {x} fallen for your best friend? Yes, albeit briefly, and I never told her {x} been rejected? Oh yes indeed- that's why I don't take many risks in love {x} been in lust? Constantly! {x} used someone? Kind of, but only so that they'd feel appreciated. Bad, eh? {x} been used? Probably. Luckily, I'm quite naive {x} done something you regret? Lots of times, but never mind… who was the last person... {x} you talked to? My son {x} you hugged? Fatboy, again. {x} you instant messaged? Her, I think {x} you kissed? Fatboy (severe absence of George in Wales right now) {x} you yelled at? Fatboy's fat friend, who is a snidey, furtive, pinching bully. Well, he was. I think my yelling may have stopped that {x} you laughed with? Fatboy, after fat friend went home- we agreed that he's a lardy lump, and had a good giggle about it! have you/are you/do you.... {x} are you psycho? No. Complicated, I admit, but not psycho- there's always logic and reason behind my actions. Honestly {x} understanding? Very. But I don't suffer fools gladly {x} arrogant: Not in the slightest {x} insecure: Sometimes. I may look like a goddess, but I'm only human {x} interesting: Yes. But complicated. I think the two go together {x} friendly: Usually. People who only talk about Buffy or the Tweenies (i.e. "ironic" students do test me after a short while, though {x} smart: Smart-clever: Extremely; Smart-well-groomed: I do my best, with occasional lapses into slob-dom {x} independent: Fiercely. And then I wonder why I'm lonely, sometimes {x} hardworking: Yes, very. As long as I'm intrinsically motivated {x} organized: Probably more so now than at any other point in my life ever {x} healthy: No health problems that I can think of. Hay fever? Myopia? Do they count? {x} emotionally stable: Yes. Again, probably more so now than ever before… {x} shy: Not usually. In fact, no. Never {x} difficult: No- I'm reasonable and pretty easy-going. Very principled, though, and unprincipled people tend to find that very difficult {x} attractive: I think so. I'm getting better with age (nobody mention "fine wine", thank you) {x} bored easily: I do need quite a lot of stimulation, I must admit. Not necessarily from people, though. I get bored of people easily. Well, some people. I need my space, as a rule {x} thirsty: No, I have a beaker of orange juice & mineral water in front of me {x} responsible: Frighteningly. I don't know how I do it, though, and feel like an impostor, sometimes {x} sad: Rarely. {x} happy: Mostly {x} talkative: Often. Very often {x} original: Oh yes. I think we can safely say that they broke the mould after I was made {x} lonely: Sometimes, but less often now {x} colour your hair? Yes. We have trashy blonde stripy streaks right now. It's ace. {x} have a boyfriend? I suppose so. I referred to him as being "my boyfriend" last night and he didn't correct or question me, so I guess it's ok to call him that. currents {x} current clothes: Gypsy top, tight cardigan, tights, knee length boots- all black; beaten-up denim skirt {x} current mood: Fine- content, calm and happy {x} current taste: Wine gums. I just stole nearly every single red and black one out of Fatboy's sweetie pot. {x} current hair: Like Liz Hurley's. Well, if she didn't have access to Hollywood hairdressers, maybe {x} current annoyance: Nothing. I wish George was here to give me a good seeing-to, but I can handle that. {x} current smell: Japanese incense- Lily of the Valley, I think. Better than it sounds, I promise {x} current thing you ought to be doing: Nothing. I am my own master! {x} current desktop picture: Trinity from the Matrix- brandishing her gun, on the roof {x} current favourite group: Dunno. My favourite track right now is "Please Stay" (Royksopp remix) by Mekon, and featuring Marc Almond. Bloody marvellous {x} current book: "Dr Faustus" for my course, and "Sensual Magic" by Pat Califia for fun. Lots of fun! {x} current worry: Nothing really. The money'll work out, I'm sure. I have faith in the process on dating.... {x} long or short hair? Very short. Shaved, even. Yul Brynner-stylee {x} dark or blond hair? No preference {x} tall or short? Tall. 6' minimum {x} good or bad?: Good. Bad gets very predicatable after a while. There are more surprises involved with goodness {x} dark or light eyes? Anything but icy blue. Icy blue eyes give me the willies on preferences... {x} sweet or sour? Sour. Especially those sour chewy sweets, and some very scary ones that my best friend bought me in NYC, that had the sour-o-meter printed on the packet, which stated that if you could keep them in your mouth for more than 30 seconds then you're very cool. Actually, could someone State-side send me some of those, please? {x} ocean or pool? Ocean. And guess who can see it from her bedroom! {x} cool ranch or nacho cheese? nacho cheese {x} mud or jell-o wrestling? Jello, I think, although I have to admit that, varied and rich as my life has been, the opportunity has never arisen to try either {x} with or without ice-cubes? With. But only in hygienic countries. I value my intestinal flora {x} fly or breathe under water? Flying. I dream about flying {x} bunk-bed or waterbed? Waterbed. Vibrating waterbed, even {x} chewing gum or hard candy? Either- preferably sour-flavoured {x} motor boat or sailboat? Speedboat {x} lights on or off? On- not too bright, though. My pink heart-shaped fairy lights have a flattering effect what's your favorite: {x} number? 7 {x} holiday? Somewhere hot and interesting {x} flower? My pink phalaenopsis orchid. Currently boasting six blooms {x} if you could be anywhere, where would you be? Where George is. Although right now he'll be on my old ward, which would be odd. I guess we could have a quick one in the relaxation room or something {x} what would you be doing? Squirming with pleasure, I hope {x} what are you listening to? Supergrass on TOTP. I wish they'd been a one-hit wonder after "Caught by the Fuzz" {x} can you do anything freakish with your body? Oh yes. Talk about saving the best til last: I can lie in the bath and squirt water past the taps. (Yes, like that)
